Abstract

The increasing complexity of enterprise operations has created a demand for intelligent cloud-based systems capable of improving workflow efficiency, resource utilization, and organizational decision-making. SAP enterprise platforms generate substantial volumes of event data through business processes such as procurement, finance, inventory management, production planning, and order fulfillment. However, conventional enterprise optimization approaches often rely on retrospective reporting, predefined workflow rules, and manual process analysis, limiting their ability to anticipate operational bottlenecks. This study examines integrated cloud enterprise optimization through SAP event analytics and machine learning-based workflow prediction. The proposed approach combines event log analysis, process mining, cloud-based data integration, predictive modeling, and intelligent workflow orchestration to identify process deviations and forecast future operational outcomes. SAP event data are analyzed to discover execution patterns, measure process performance, and identify delays, rework, and resource inefficiencies. Machine learning techniques are incorporated to predict task completion times, workflow bottlenecks, process deviations, and potential service-level agreement violations. The research methodology adopts a structured analytical framework encompassing data preparation, predictive model development, cloud integration, and performance evaluation. Evaluation criteria include prediction accuracy, workflow completion time, resource utilization, process conformance, and operational cost efficiency. The proposed framework illustrates how combining SAP event analytics with predictive intelligence can support proactive process management, improve cross-functional coordination, and strengthen enterprise agility. The study also considers implementation challenges involving data quality, system interoperability, model explainability, security, and organizational adoption, establishing a foundation for future empirical investigation
